Kate pursued Athletic Therapy after growing up playing sports and became interested in the field after seeing a wide range of injuries and how they could be managed. She worked 3 years with AAA hockey as university placement before spending 6 years in the Manitoba Junior Hockey League. Since Kate has transitioned to clinical work, she stays involved with hockey with the Morris Mavericks high school hockey team in the evenings. During her time in hockey, she has seen a variety of injuries and has gotten to channel her creativity with therapeutic rehabilitation, alongside utilizing her first responder skills. Growing up on a farm, she always loved being outside and decided to recently take up golf as a summer activity. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with friends and family (as well as her dog), going to the gym, and exploring the outdoors!

Alex grew up outside of a small town in southern Manitoba and spent a lot of her childhood in the great outdoors. She enjoys gardening in the spring and summer & skiing in the winter. After rehabbing her broken leg in 2012, Alex developed a keen interest in the rehabilitation process which made her pursue a career in physiotherapy. Alex enjoys working with clients to get them back to activities that they love to do; whether that be back on the court, running trails, or their own backyards. To do this, Alex likes to utilize techniques in manual therapy, needling, and most importantly exercise! When not in the clinic Alex enjoys spending time outside with her partner and dogs Ozzie and Moose, golfing, skiing, hiking, curling, traveling, and trying different cuisines.

Dixie graduated from the University of Manitoba with a Master of Physical Therapy in 2019. Since graduating, Dixie has enjoyed working in both private and public practice settings. She has gone on to obtain her certifications in pelvic floor and cesarean birth rehabilitation along with orthopedic division levels 1 and 2. Dixie believes in a client centered approach when treating, using both hands on and exercise-based treatments to promote recovery and fitness progression.

When not working, Dixie enjoys staying active through running, performing gym workouts and walking her dog, Theo! She highly values spending time with her family and friends. When time allows, she also enjoys completing home DIY projects, golfing and travelling!
