I hold a Master of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Alberta, as of December 2021, and am a fully licensed physiotherapist in Alberta. I provide one-on-one, evidence-based care with a strong emphasis on the biopsychosocial model. My treatments are tailored to each client and may include therapeutic exercise, dry needling, manual therapy, and functional assessment.
With experience in both clinic and home care settings, I bring a flexible and client-centered approach to rehabilitation. My clinical focus includes post-injury and post-surgical orthopaedics, sports-related injuries, and pain management, especially involving the low back, shoulder, and knee. I’m passionate about equipping clients with the tools and knowledge to manage their conditions independently and prevent future issues.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my dogs and family. We love camping, going for walks, and staying active outdoors. I also have a lifelong love of volleyball and try to play whenever I get the chance.
I have completed my physiotherapy degree from India in 2002, with experience working in multi-speciality hospital , in acute care taking care of elderly patients such as post stroke, neurological conditions, Post surgical like knee or hip replacement, people with heart surgeries,children suffering from birth defects like C.P.and along with own private practise along with volunteering with men’s hockey and local cricket teams . I have been working as a fully registered Physiotherapist in Canada for last 5 years with certification in Functional dry needling, concussion and vestibular management, Graston techniques, Mckenzie lumbar techniques
My area of expertise is in hands on approach using my skills in not just treating the clients but making them understand their body as a whole system, to recover and prevent future breakdowns. I have treated patients with Motor vehicle accident, Work injuries, sports rehab, elderly struggling with daily activites
