Jill graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree from UofM with a major in Psychology in 2012 and completed many of her studies while living abroad. Jill went on to achieve her Master’s of Physical Therapy in 2014 and worked for 10 years in an acute care setting with a concentration in neurological, cardiorespiratory, and general mobility training. Jill is certified in Pelvic Floor Physiotherapy (level one and two) and has taken courses specific to pelvic floor issues during pregnancy. She has also taken courses in diastasis recti and offers postpartum rehabilitation programs. Jill also offers in-home breastfeeding support to both mother and baby for treatment of clogged milk ducts, tension in the infant, etc.

As a busy mom of three attempting to recover from DR, pelvic floor dysfunction, and subsequent lower back pain herself, she found it very difficult to make it to consistent physiotherapy appointments due to lack of child care and time constraints. It became evident that coming to help these mothers would be a great benefit. In addition, Jill has and continues to work with a diverse range of patients in the hospital, with a focus on neurological, respiratory, and general surgical conditions. Many of these patients do not have the ability to access follow up physiotherapy appointments in the community due to mobility restrictions, limited support, and/or location barriers, which further has encouraged Jill to develop a way to come to these populations, within the comfort of their home.
